Welcome to IABTM (I AM BETTER THAN ME) (“IABTM,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our platform, website, mobile application, products, services, events, and any related features (collectively, the “Services”).

By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use IABTM.

1. Overview of the IABTM Platform

IABTM is a transformation platform designed to help individuals “become the self they imagine” through:

  • AI-powered personalized pathways
  • Behavioral-science-guided tools
  • Guided visualizations and learning modules
  • Community experiences (IABTM 3605)
  • Curated media and cultural content
  • Expert marketplace and session bookings
  • E-commerce and essentials shop
  • Events such as The Dream Run
  • Research-backed programs (including NIH-funded studies)

These Terms apply to all users, including experts, creators, moderators, and event participants.

2. Eligibility

To use the Services, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years old (or the age required in your region),
  • Be able to form a binding contract,
  • Not be barred from using the Services under applicable law.

If you are under 18, you may use the Services only with parental/guardian consent.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials confidential,
  • Ensuring information you provide is accurate,
  • All activity that occurs through your account.

You agree not to:

  • Impersonate another person,
  • Create accounts for fraudulent purposes,
  • Share or sell your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Personal Growth & Behavioral Guidance Disclaimer

IABTM provides inspiration, educational content, behavioral-science–based tools, AI-generated insights, and curated resources designed to support personal growth.

IABTM is not a medical, clinical, or therapeutic service.

We do not provide:

  • Medical advice
  • Diagnosis or treatment
  • Mental health therapy

You should consult a licensed professional for medical, psychological, or mental health concerns.

5. AI Use

IABTM uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to personalize your pathways, insights, and recommendations.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that:

  • AI outputs may not always be accurate,
  • You are responsible for verifying any guidance,
  • AI insights are informational only—not professional advice.

You may not use AI features to generate harmful, deceptive, or illegal content.

6. Content & Intellectual Property

6.1 IABTM Content

All content provided by IABTM—including videos, modules, guided visualizations, text, images, branding, pathways, and AI-generated content—is owned by IABTM or our licensors.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for personal, non-commercial use.

You may not:

  • Copy, distribute, or modify content
  • Create derivative works
  • Reverse engineer or scrape the platform
  • Use IABTM content for commercial purposes without written consent

6.2 User-Generated Content

By posting content in the community (3605) or uploading to IABTM, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

  • Use, display, reproduce, distribute, and create derivative works
  • For operation, promotion, and improvement of the platform

You retain ownership of your content. We may remove content that violates our policies.

7. Community Standards (3605)

IABTM’s culture prioritizes authenticity, encouragement, and growth.

Users agree not to post or engage in:

  • Hate speech, discrimination, or harassment
  • Violence, threats, or harmful behaviors
  • Pornographic, explicit, or exploitative content
  • Misinformation, spam, solicitation, or scams
  • Copyright-infringing material
  • Sharing another person’s private information

We reserve the right to moderate, remove, or suspend content or accounts at our discretion.

8. Expert Marketplace & Sessions

Experts, creators, coaches, and professionals may offer services on IABTM.

You acknowledge that:

  • Experts are independent contractors, not employees of IABTM.
  • IABTM is not responsible for expert actions, advice, or outcomes.
  • Payments, cancellations, and rescheduling follow posted policies.
  • IABTM may receive a commission for marketplace transactions.

9. Purchases, Subscriptions & Payments

9.1 Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions (e.g., Premium Pathways) automatically renew unless canceled. You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method.

9.2 Refunds

Refund policies are stated at checkout. Generally:

  • Subscription fees are non-refundable once billed.
  • One-time purchases follow merchant policies.

9.3 E-Commerce / Essentials Shop

Products may be sold via:

  • Third-party partners (Amazon, Dick’s Sporting Goods, etc.)
  • Affiliate links
  • Direct IABTM commerce channels

These may have separate terms you must review.

10. Events

Participation in IABTM events may require:

  • Registration
  • Assumption of risk
  • Data collection
  • Waivers regarding physical activity

Events may be photographed or recorded. By attending, you grant IABTM the right to use event media that includes you.

11. Research Participation (NIH or Other Studies)

Participation in scientific research programs is:

  • Voluntary,
  • Separately consented,
  • Governed by additional documents (informed consent forms).

Research data may be:

  • De-identified,
  • Used to evaluate behavioral outcomes,
  • Used in academic or scientific publications.

Your personal identity will not be disclosed in research findings.

12. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for unlawful purposes
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt unauthorized access
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services
  • Upload harmful code, viruses, or automated bots
  • Misuse AI or community tools
  • Exploit vulnerabilities or abuse access in any way

Violations may result in account termination.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account:

  • For violating these Terms,
  • For harmful behavior,
  • To protect users or the platform,
  • For inactivity or compliance reasons.

You may delete your account at any time. Termination does not relieve you of payment obligations incurred before termination.

14. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and without warranties, including:

  • No guarantee of transformation results
  • No guarantee of uninterrupted access
  • No guarantee of accuracy or completeness

We disclaim all express or implied warranties to the fullest extent allowed by law.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, IABTM is not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or personal outcomes
  • Errors in AI-generated content
  • Conduct of experts or other users
  • Injuries sustained during events

Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid to IABTM in the past 12 months.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless IABTM from:

  • Claims arising from your misuse of the Services
  • Violations of these Terms
  • Content you submit
  • Interactions with experts or other users

17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Disputes will be resolved via:

  • Informal negotiation,
  • Binding arbitration (unless prohibited by law).

You waive the right to participate in class actions.

18. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.

We will notify you of material changes via:

  • Email,
  • App notifications,
  • Or updates on the website.

Continued use constitutes acceptance.
